I am commenting to voice my strong opposition to the proposed construction of interim combined sewer overflows into Lake Ontario.

No public consultations have been held for this proposal and it would appear that it is trying to pass unnoticed.

The proposed sewer overflows will have a negative impact in multiple ways: the water quality of Toronto will be affected, as will the biodiversity of the lake. People's quality of life will also be negatively affected, as it may pose health risks to those who use the lake for recreation or fishing.

Residents of Toronto do not want storm water runoff in the lake. Please deny this permit.
