I am absolutely appalled to learn that the Ontario Government, in an effort to fast track the Therme Spa construction is applying to dump raw sewage into Lake Ontario. The City of Toronto has spent millions on the infrastructure to separate sewage from stormwater in order to ensure that the water we swim, row and paddle in is clean and that the lake's ecosystem is not damaged. In what world does the construction of a private spa trump the protection public and environmental health?
