I’m highly distressed and disappointed that the Ford government is choosing to needlessly pollute Lake Ontario around the West Island. The lake is a priceless resource for Ontarians, and more intimately Torontonians in this case. The majority Torontonians are drowning in their expenses, and cannot afford to leave the city to be in the muskokas spring-fall. We rely on the waterfront, and Toronto islands, to provide natural enjoyment and swimming in the summertime. I am extremely distressed by the state of affairs and the plans for the future of Ontario place in general, but to slap on a health hazard on top of everything? It’s a literal slap in the face, all of it. Please reverse these plans, it’s nonsense and NO ONE who lives here wants any of it. Especially not with our tax money. I’d rather see it burned.
