This act not only dismantles vital protection for endangered species of Ontario, it also ignores the voices of Indigenous people, this act allows developers to have more say on the land of Indigenous communities than the Indigenous people THEMSELVES.

This is absurd, extremely inconsiderate and disrespectful, our environment and wildlife MUST be protected, Indigenous land must be honored and protected. Special economic zones allow the government to play favorite, more backroom deals and special treatments favoring certain developers, purposefully avoiding transparency, environmental impact and accountability.

This act must be withdrawn.
