I do strongly oppose, and am incredibly dismayed by this proposed legislation. It is unthinkable that we would dismantles essential protections for endangered wildlife and ecosystems and ignore the rights and sovereignty of Indigenous communities in the name of short term economic gain. This bill ignores the urgent environmental challenges that will impact the daily lives of every Ontario citizen, and destroy the efforts of science-based conservation that can never be replaced.

I am incredibly disappointed that a government that claims to be working for the betterment of this province would propose such short-sighted legislation. I urge the government to withdraw this legislation for the good of Ontario and it's future.
