I urge you to withdraw this proposal immediately. This legislation would remove important protections for vulnerable species and violate the sovereignty and rights of our Indigenous peoples. Canada's bountiful nature is our greatest resource -- one that we would squander irreparably if exploitation were not regulated by careful studies, consultation with scientists and local communities, and environmental conservation efforts.
