This new proposal is ridiculous. Tightening the budget on conservation effectively reduces jobs in the field, therefore causing LESS conservation to be done properly. Less environmental workers and budget is not the answer. Listen to the parks and environmental sector when we tell you what is needed. The answer is NOT to change the way we formulate a plan without any on the ground consultation. Rethink this, and rethink a massive budget influx on parks and green spaces across Canada that are already well maintained. This is DUE TO STAFF IN THE ENVIRONMENT THAT CARE ABOUT THE WORLD AROUND THEM AND WORK HARD TO PRESERVE NATIVE SPECIES AND THEIR ENVIRONMENTS. Listen to the people in the environmental sector.
