We need to keep and strengthen our protections for habitat and species at risk. These are so valuable and it is already too little care and oversight taken at a governmental and public policy level for these species and places.
It is the exact opposite of indigenous reconciliation to remove these protections. We need to find better ways to develop using land that is already developed more efficiently rather than expanding our footprint in lessdeveloped territories.
This proposal must be canceled. There is no way to amend this to make it ok unless it is to strengthen the rights and protections of the endangered species and their habitats for future generations.
