I believe it is irresponsible to rush incursions into the habitats of protected species. If development must happen, decisions with respect to the environment must be very carefully considered, as reckless damage to our ecosystem could end up impacting the lives of Ontarians for generations to come. This proposed change is completely contrary to our Canadian culture of environmental responsibility. We can't bulldoze with abandon, we have to enshrine our dedication to protecting what we can, using all of the information, studies, and testing that are available today.
