This is an incredibly short-sighted, dangerous, and frankly, stupid, proposal. Not only would this endanger our environment and leave it worse off for future generations and lead to ecological conditions where our natural resources would be lost, it would also result in many costly lawsuits from indigenous communities, environmemtal groups, concerned citizens, and more. That would cause long delays and uncertainty that would negatively impact whatever industries might benefit from this bill while costing the province millions. One needs only to see the disaster that is the Keystone Pipeline project to understand some of the consequences of this bill.
