The proposed changes to this law will create a tragic end to the endangered species we have in Ontario. This will fast track their deaths and move them to the extinct list.
Studies need to be taken before proceeding in sensitive areas, we should not be giving developers and companies the ability to fast track any type of development without knowing what kind of outcome it will have.
This will also open the government and the province up to lawsuits in the future from the indigenous communities for failure to protect the lands that they hold sacred.
Environmental protection should be strengthened, not weakened.

Businesses and corporations should not be put above the clean air that our future children breathe.

This is a terrible idea and these changes should not be made to the act.
