It is wild to me that in 2025 I even have to submit a comment outlining my anger at such a proposal. But then again, not surprised by this government choosing this approach rather than innovation. Despite needing infrastructure and housing, we absolutely should not be cutting environmental protections to do so. Just last week, I had a coyote almost come up and attack my preschool aged child in a popular suburban area. Why? Because the government just cut down their nearby habitat to build more concrete. Please, seriously consider the impact this will have on our children, grandchildren, climate and fellow animals. Become true leaders who create innovative and inspirational solutions to these problems rather than going back in time. Stop this proposal now.
