Absolutely diabolical to propose the SCA and scrap the ESA. The process of completing impact assessments PRIOR to development is crucial. Should development take place prior to an ecological assessment will be devastating to our species at risk. Our government should NOT have control over what species are on the SAR list. They have no qualifications and will have a bias for development over protecting our species and environment.
