I am an Ontario citizen and I deeply oppose this act. It's true purpose is not to make the development process easier, but rather to make urban sprawl unaccountable and unimpeded by ANY conservation efforts of any kind. Their narrow definition of habitats for endangered species is very concerning.  It also risks setting a dangerous precedent for bypassing meaningful Indigenous consultation, contravening constitutional obligations and the principles of reconciliation.
