I recognize Ontario needs to do something to help our economy during this rough period but I do not agree that we should drastically reduce our protection and conservation efforts in order to do so. Our province is beautiful and full of natural wonders and resources which if leveraged carefully with great consideration could support us indefinitely. If we act hastily and destroy the ecosystem in an effort to boost our economy now we risk putting ourselves and future generations into a corner where the province can no longer supply us with the support we need to continue living here.
