While I support the concept of reducing red tape and duplicate legislation, this isn't the solution. This bill weakens environmental protections, putting profit above people or the natural environment. This bill should be re-worked to reduce ambiguity or redundancy in current legislation WITHOUT reducing the protection afforded to any species or the rights of Indigenous communities.
