Sociopaths/narcissists/psychopaths are incapable of caring about anyone or anything but themselves, and as such, money is the only thing that matters to them. They're often experts at mimicking human emotions, but incapable of actually feeling them. Hence when you elect people like that, you get policies like this. Calls himself 'progressive', but actually suffers the same sort of brain damage as Trump.
