This proposal would substantially weaken the Endangered Species Act while attempting to pretend the government cares about listening to conservation scientists. The government wants to circumvent conservation scientists and give itself the power to make changes based on what will put more money in the hands of developers. I do not support these changes as they are not in the best interest of the environment or humankind. This is yet another power grab by the conservatives to weaken legislation that protects interests outside of wealthy land developers.
