Hey! I don't think its a good idea to make building easier at the expense of wildlife and important habitat. Southern Ontario especially is home to many threatened and endangered species and we aren't doing a lot to help them out or protect them. To make people not need permits they just have to register - hello!! a bunch of sketchy stuff is going to happen!! People barley follow the guidelines now and if they do once we build somewhere it is never the same ecologically!! We need to protect wildlife in Canada not make it easier to destroy! I would be greatly saddened and angry if I saw my government pushing the ideas of profit over our natural environment that we need to live!! Please think about what you are going to do and the destruction you will bring to an already chaotic and vulnerable natural system!
