I do not agree with any proposal that could potentially endanger the environment or species, especially species that are already endangered. The cost of fast tracking a process that was thoughtfully designed to protect the environment and the species that inhabit it, will inevitably be the loss of crucial habitat and species. Once gone they will be gone forever. Development for Ontario‘s citizens cannot occur at the expense of the species we share this space with. Present and future generations depend on a healthy ecosystem for food, health, and economic stability. The process that was designed to ensure development does not happen at the expense of environmental protection should never be fast tracked.
