This is a step backwards for Ontario and Canada as a whole. We should be leaning harder into conservation efforts, not repealing them. Canada is one of the last vast wildernesses left in the world, we have so much to lose. We should be protecting it at all costs. Imagine taking a vacation in the country, and waking in the morning to silence? No loon calls or chickadees, just the sound of passing vehicles. Not the Canada I want to live in.
