I strongly oppose the proposed changes in ERO #025-0380. Weakening the Endangered Species Act in favour of short-term economic gain puts Ontario’s biodiversity and long-term sustainability at risk. Removing permitting, narrowing habitat definitions, and sidelining science and recovery planning undermines decades of conservation work. I urge the government to reconsider and prioritize balanced, science-based protections.
