I am deeply opposed to these proposed changes which will dramatically weaken Enviromental and species protections in Ontario in favour of unregulated development. Just like The Ford government attemped to bulldoze the Greenbelt, they are now trying to rush development through anywhere they can, enviromental consequences be damned. The Ford strategy of urban sprawl over affordable density will not solve our housing crises, our traffic crises, and instead will endanger the fragile ecosystems we rely on for survival.
