Please reconsider this proposal. The negative consequences cannot be undone if this is enacted. Even if we forget the endangered species that are at risk, we humans are dependent on fully functioning ecosystems. We can make economic progress without these destructive measures. The sooner we devise ways to work in a way that doesn't compromise the natural systems that we rely on, the more prosperity we can sustain in the long term.
