This is a gross amendment to try and pass. Indigenous activists work hard to protect our lands and our animals homes, and something like this is in complete violation of that. Housing can and should happen without further endangering animals, but capitalism and colonialism tells us otherwise. As an Indigenous land activist I do not support this bill and demand that the Ontario government continue at a baseline of respecting the lands they occupy.
