I strongly oppose Bill 5. The bill's proposed changes will weaken protections for species at risk in Ontario, jeopardizing the survival of vulnerable species. I want my children to be able to grow up and live in the Ontario I grew up in. Access to green space, parks, and nature is critical to ensuring our communities remain healthy, this seems to be several steps backward and will move in the direction of removing those spaces. The priorities are not placed appropriately here. Nature is all we have, we need to protect it.
