This will completely eliminate protections for species at risk in the province to allow development to go through. The new definition of habitat will not allow for proper protection of species or their critical habitat. Have these changes been discussed with the science community? What proof is there that this will still protect species. There will be no more overall benefit. This will set species at risk protection back and it will result in more and more species being extirpated. No one will be supportive of these changes other than developers.
