The Endangered Species act…

The Endangered Species act is written the way it is for an important reason. To safeguard incredible spaces in Ontario that are habitat for the species we care deeply about, that are threatened or endangered. The act should never be watered down to have to consider more than that, like socioeconomic considerations. There is enough focus on economy elsewhere without adding it within an act meant to protect biodiversity.
