While driving from Bracebridge to Huntsville a few days ago, I saw a couple of Minister Graydon Smith's billboards proclaiming "Protect Ontario".
Not quite sure what the government is trying to convey.
However The David Suzuki Foundation, powerfully refutes the assertion that your Government intends to Preserve Ontario.

The Suzuki Foundation, which I respect, states, regarding Bill 5:
It would gut Ontario’s Endangered Species Act, silence Indigenous rights, and give the Premier the power to greenlight mines, highways, and clearcuts with zero oversight — all under the excuse of “economic zones.”
This is hardly "Protecting Ontario".
I protest.
Protecting the environment, and species at risk is critical, not optional.
Wide input, and due process, are essential, regarding proposed new developments.
Environmental safeguards should remain in place or be strengthened, not eliminated or weakened.
This bill should never see the light of day.
Keep Ontario livable and strong, with good legislation, not empty slogans.
A healthy environment ensures long-term prosperity.
Environmental degradation works directly against long-term prosperity.
You know this.
Don't engage in misguided short-term thinking.
Your constituents deserve better.
