I am greatly opposed to this Bill.

Please stop trying to fast-track ill-conceived development projects without doing your due diligence or when environmental protections force you to think more creatively. Let experts on species and environmental conservation do their jobs.

There is no point in having a committee (COSSARO) that maintains a list of protected species if the government can just ignore and circumvent it whenever it suits you; because you get information you, businesses, or developers do not want to hear.

This does not sound like a "reasonable, balanced approach to protecting species in Ontario," and it is insulting to suggest that it is. This is an attempt to undermine authorities meant to hold government and corporate power in check.
