I think that this proposal should not for the health of wild Ontario species, and the preservation of the ecology in this province. The protections that are being proposed to be reassessed are essential to protecting our endangered species. The proposal to reduce these protections is absolutely ridiculous, considering how ineffective our protections in Ontario already are when compared to other provinces. The reasoning of surveys and protections “taking too long” is absurd, it is obvious that this is a decision being made solely for Doug Fords financial gain, and WE as Ontario's that care about the beauty and preservation of this province should not have to pay.
