Writing to indicate non support for the change in Bill 5. Developers should have to go through the most rigorous process to make sure that the environmental impact is minimal. Canada is one of the last places where certain species have the opportunity to live and thrive due to our low population density this is something that should be sustained. The people of Ontario do NOT want more development at the cost of the environment and conservation of species. What is currently happening as a result of ontario place being decimated (i.e. Coyotes running around in adjacent neighbourhoods) is awful both for the species AND the people who live in these neighbourhoods. All of this could have been avoided if the province took an approach where development was allowed IN HARMONY with the existing habitats of flora and fauna. Thank you .
