Please consider this bill very carefully. As a resident of Ontario I am deeply dismayed by the proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act—the reason that planning permissions take so long is that we must consider the needs of the environment *as well as* those of our population when looking at building plans. The careful and considered approach to planning permissions ensures accountability and this government must continue to uphold accountability in all that it does.
