The Honourable Doug Ford,

I strongly oppose Bill 5 as a whole and in particular repealing the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Repealing the ESA is irresponsible and short sighted. We have a responsibility to current and future generation to be careful stewards of the land. I expect my government to use evidence to base policy on and not politicize our responsibility to our environment. It is clear that Bill 5 places business interests over the health of our environment and our responsibility to other species and future generations of Ontarians.
