I could not be more strongly opposed to this proposed bill. The preservation of our natural environment is crucial to the continued well-being of our own species; reducing protections for endangered species is a wedge to permitting wholesale environmental destruction. Premier Ford’s inclinations towards privileging development over environmental preservation are well-known. I do not want to see natural habitats destroyed to put more money in the pockets of wealthy developers who have the Premier’s ear.
