I am rather alarmed about the changes proposed to the Endangered Species Act, 2007.

I don't think that the definition of habitat should be changed.

I think recovering a species should be a requirement that is missing from the new law.

I don't think that the government should be able to add or remove species from the list drawn up by the Committee on the Status of Species at Risk in Ontario (COSSARO),

And I don't think activities should be allowed to begin until after the ministry has approved permits.
