While I understand the need to further infrastructure projects in Ontario, the proposed ammendments to the endangered species act balantly disregards the science that serves to protect these species. Habitat fragmentation is a detriment to many species and the change of definition for "habitat" could expedite this. Please reconsider, especially for terrestrial species and migratory birds.
