Profit at all costs is a death sentence in the long term. We need a different approach to living in this world. We need to protect all species and find ways to coexist. Change can not wait. There is climate change coming and we can't stop it. All we can do is stop doing things that make it worse. Hopefully we can ride it out and minimize the damage. The destruction of more farm land and nature is not going to help us. We need to reorganize within our communities. Due to greed and sleezy business practices there are a lot of unused, underused and dilapidated buildings that could be repurposed. This is where we need to look. Changing policies so these greedy people can do more damage is not the way to go.
