I was born in Atikokan, Ontario where we are entirely entwined with wildlife, both flora and fauna. We cannot under any circumstances remove protections from the glorious lands we stole and now hold as shepherds. Listen to the Indigenous voices, to the scientific community, to people who aren’t like you and understand that what we hold in Ontario is priceless. Stop selling priceless things for something as basic as money and clout with corporations. You are a human being first, remember that you are alive and breathing the air that these trees produce for you, swimming in the lakes that have safe water and sharing all of this with all creatures of these lands. For the love of God, find your humanity. This is absolutely insane. Move forward, not backwards like Trump.
