This bill is outrageous! We are stewards of this land for all who live here, including the plants and animals. Ecosystems require care and consideration because they support life, including ours, and ensure sustainability.

Our children are relying on us to keep this plant for them and the generations of those who come after them. The peat lands are one of the largest carbon sinks in the world. This is a disaster.

We cannot sustain an economy that relies on digging things out of the ground and selling them. Without environmental assessments and protection for species at risk, we are doomed to endure the destruction of our environment to line the pockets of a select few people who are already wealthy beyond belief.

This bill cannot be allowed to pass!!
