I feel it is incredibly short sighted to take away any of the protections listed in this proposal. The goal as I understand it is to streamline building and mining projects that will help the economy of the province, however the people that depend on the biodiversity of that province for sustainable life will suffer in the long run due to a lack of biodiversity which helps to sustain life of all species including the humans that would benefit from a healthier economy. The checks and balances were put in place for good reason, and thise reasons haven't changed. In fact they are even more important now with the speed of climate change. Please don't put money ahead of life.
