To whom it may concern,

As an environmental professional and longtime resident of Ontario, I strongly oppose the proposition of Bill 5.

This bill would bring even further harm to Ontario’s natural ecosystems and circumvent protections that are in place to preserve and protect fish and wildlife.

I strongly recommend that this bill not be passed, for the benefit of the province of Ontario and all things that reside there.

Given Doug Ford’s very recent scandals regarding the Green Belt, this appears to be just another attempt by Mr Ford to make money at the expense of the environment.

Please consider the ulterior motives of this bill, and do not allow it to pass.
