These changes will be detrimental to the conservation of animals and plants in Canada and pave the way for large corporations to move forward with projects without consultation or care for the natural biodiversity of Ontario. Strongly oppose removing layers of consultation for development of areas without ensuring the impact on Ontario’s wildlife is thoroughly reviewed with experts. If there is a long wait for corporations to build, then I would suggest investing more funds in environmental positions to help move applications forward.
