Dear Doug Ford,

I have the misfortune of being a Millenial. My generation has gotten further from the dream of owning a home. Housing is a crisis in Ontario. I want to own property but not at the expense of Canada’s vibrant ecosystem.

In Ontario we are blessed with so many bodies of water, with lush farmlands and with an ecosystem that relies on the Greenbelt staying put.

Houses do not trump the importance of a healthy land. Our lands must be protected. Our famlands need to be protected.

I am writing to oppose changes proposed by bill 5 that allow little regard for any consultation before corporation bulldoze our vital lands.

As Canadians we must protect our lands. As Ontarians we are guardians to our unique and lush landscapes.
