I oppose Bill 5. I want strong environmental protections. I strongly oppose short cuts for industry at the expense of the environment. We should not be amending the law to benefit industry at this crucial time in the environmental timeline.

The timing of the bill is also highly suspicious and lack of responsibility here in terms of informing and getting feedback from stakeholders is a real slap in the face from the provincial government. I have lost so much faith in the current provincial government after this and expect much better from them in the future.
