I oppose Bill 5, and any changes to the Environment Protections Act that will harm the environment. Environment protections are in place to protect our land and animals who occupy it. Industrial regulations and oversite on projects in Ontario is incredibly important when working to preserve our environment for future generations of people and animals to enjoy.

We need to look at building on land that has shut down/unoccupied buildings in urban areas instead of creating more urban sprawl. Why not give discounts to builders who chose to refurbish or build on that type of land? It will help increase population density in those areas. Focus on creating affordable housing for people who need it. We don’t need any more luxury homes that only create housing opportunities for a small subset of people.
