I support economic development—but not at the expense of our future. As someone who lives in Toronto, I’ve seen how important green spaces, biodiversity, and smart planning are. Bill 5 guts environmental protections, ignores Indigenous rights, and opens the door to short-sighted development. The environment is our future—once we lose it, we don’t get it back.
