I oppose bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones. We are facing an environmental crisis what's important right now isn't eliminating checks and balances that hold people accountable for the damage they do to our planet.
That's not to mention it's a waist of time for us to be debating this right now when we have a shortage of nurses, children are going hungry, our education system is failing, existing infrastructure needs to be updated and maintained before building new. People are scared and divided what we need right now is for Doug Ford to for once be a man of his word, be a leader who actually puts Ontario first and not corporate interest.
