Hello! I wanted to say I'm strongly opposed to this bill. As an Ontarian born and raised in the GTA, a former Girl Guide, and long-time nature lover, the harm that this bill will do to the Green Belt far outweighs any monetary gain the province will see from it. In fact, I'd say it's likely the profit will mostly benefit the private company owners with close ties to our premises while the hard working farmers of our province suffer. Do not go through with this change. These lands are protected for good reason. They're unique and feed our people. We need more support for farmers and fewer parking lots poured on productive farmland or wetland.
