I oppose Bill 5. Ontario should have strong environmental protections. Ontario should be responsible for protecting species at risk from Industry that seeks to destroy their habitats - this includes migratory birds and aquatic species. Ontario should also have a robust consultation process with Indigenous people who know and understand the land, and commit to reconciliation by respecting requests from Indigenous communities to stop Industry from building on/through lands that are important to their communities.
